We played it pretty low key for good old Independence Day. No big travel plans or big fireworks show (we were tired). Just a fun day off. We went first to a lunch BBQ at a friends house, where Evie and elijah demolished a corner of their yard through the magic of the kiddie pool and poop water (a la Evie). Sorry Tanya.

We went to the lake for an hour to cool off and splash around. Elijah likes to play it cool, using the walk back to the car to air out a little.
After the lake, we headed to another little hang out BBQ with the Lee's and company. When it got dark enough, we lit off some small fireworks and let the neighbors take care of the illegal ones.
