Evening at the lake

 On one fine sunday evening in July, we decided to head out to a lake and have some fun.  Because, I have found that is what people do here in Minnesota during the summer, they go to a lake.  Everyone has their preference of lake.  And everyone says, "We're going out to the lake" or "I'm goin on the lake"
I prefer Lake Calhoun in minneapolis, but Lake Nokomis is closer to us, we choose based on how much time we have to burn.

 Here is Evie sporting one of those top-of-the-head baby ponytails she loves so much.  She likes to show it off to people.  She will say, "Poh-tayuh! see? poooooy-taahy." and pat her head.
